Without knowing proper English a child will not be able to communicate effectively in other subjects as well as English or be able to fully back up arguments, describe evidence or use persuasive speech in other school subjects.

Our tutors ensure we all work together having regular meetings to discuss students and ensuring an all-round education is provided, Geography, history or business studies students may require a few weeks with an English teacher who will work alongside their geography, history or business studies teacher to ensure grammar, punctuation and spelling is all being utilized accordingly within specific subjects to ensure maximum marks are gained when it comes to submitting course work and the examinations.

Liaising with schools is also important to ensure we are all working together for the benefit of the students.

At HB Tutoring we issue students with progress reports each half term identifying areas which have been covered and areas which tutors will cover in the coming weeks. The progress reports serve as a tuition diary and highlight students strengths and weaknesses within the curriculum which tutors and teachers find useful for the planning of work and future lessons.
