We ensure children are supported on all their needs from the very onset of commencing with tuition with us. We will ask you about your child;
Do they lack confidence? Do they require support with certain topic areas? Do they require gearing towards final exams?
We will listen to you and discuss the kind of tutor which you feel will be most suitable, we will then, (if you wish us to do so), contact your child’s school which whilst copying parents into all emails with the school. This allows us to identify areas of difficulty which the student may be experiencing and also to request a half termly plan which we will share with your designated tutor.
Our approach ensures we are working with the school and can identify areas of difficulty within the curriculum. We supply students with all materials, older children with work books past exam papers as are used within schools, younger children or children with English as a second language may be sent practical resources to use at home and will receive certificates through the post as they reach their educational goals.
All students are added to our learning platform, this is an amazing resources which can be used in between your tutors visits, our platform covers both English and maths which students can work through at their leisure, if you get an answer incorrect it will show you where you went wrong and how to answer correctly. Our learning package has proven to maximise a student’s confidence and ability and we are very proud of our results gained from offering this online solution.
Upon signing up with us, we will send out to you a copy of the government guidelines showing the requirements that a student should reach within each academic year, this will be sent as a paper copy along with the profile of your designated tutor.
We fully understand that older students may get stressed about their studies, when you are part of the HB Tutoring family, we support students around the clock, therefore always feel free to message us with any problems which may crop up and we can arrange a Skype/FaceTime with your tutor, if your tutor is unavailable we can offer an alternative tutor who is also specialised within the subject area to have a chat and listen to any queries you may have regarding your subject.
We always want our parents to be assured there is someone here to listen to them at any time to answer any queries regarding education, all calls with parents are kept strictly confidential, if we need to check with another person in order to get you accurate information you will be notified prior to this.
